"what you do to the least of my brothers, you do to me"
The original context of the quote above (by film writer Glenn Kenny) has to do with allegations of film critic "groupthink" and whether there is or should be a critical community. Mr. Kenny thinks not, with the exception of his quoted remark.
Of course, in the poetry community, it's Gospel that you criticize and censure down the ladder instead of the upwards direction.
So what's done to the least of your brother and sister poets is not your problem.
Either ostracize them, or tell them to keep writing regardless of what people say.
And don't let them jeopardize your relationships with the poets who really matter to you.
