Lady Gaga explains for you difference between real and Showbiz friends.

Quote from singer/performer Lady Gaga:
"My heart breaks from the people I have trusted and loved who I've worked so closely with, who have used me, lied to me, worked me into the ground for the personal gain," she wrote. "When I woke up in the hospital after my surgery, there were many people that were not there. My health did not matter. I did not matter unless I could perform. This is a very hard lesson."

Miley and Justin and Jimmy and the 2013 VMAs.

In essence, nothing is ever new vis a vis the smelling salts/outcry of Offended Elders over Miley Cyrus at last night's VMAs being similar to Britney Spears at the same ceremony thirteen years earlier:

Even Madonna gets insecure.

http://hollywood-elsewhere.com/2012/06/istanbul_serf.php

Two observations re the above:
1. In essence, it seems that Madonna, by exposing her right breast in Turkey, is taunting Lady Gaga for canceling a show in Malaysia after pushback from religious conservatives.
2. Earlier tonight, I was listening to Sirius/XM's Studio 54 channel (Channel 15) when the now-obscure Jellybean Benitez/Madonna track "Sidewalk Talk" played.  And I remembered the golden days of the 80s when Madonna exuded so much confidence that it wasn't necessary for her to have someone in her entourage paint a fake-tattoo of the words NO FEAR on her back (evident at the Istanbul concert).

Kate Walsh, Lady Gaga and a distant memory.

http://justjared.buzznet.com/2010/09/17/kate-walshs-sushi-dress-homage-to-lady-gaga/

Although Kate Walsh's hauteur can be fun in small doses (I'll forget about her apparent support of the actor-producers in the last SAG/AMPTP contract negotiation for now), the "sushi dress" gag on THE TONIGHT SHOW WITH JAY LENO stirs up distant memories of the late Bert Convy making fun of Joe Cocker on a long-ago CBS game show (TATTLETALES, perhaps?) in the 70s.

In essence, mainstream showbiz choosing not to get real artistry.
